Thank the Gods it’s Friday. This week has just flown by and no sooner do I clear away one pile of paperwork off my desk, as if my magic, another pile appears. A bit like the sorcerer’s apprentice and unfortunately I don’t know the magic word to make it stop.
It’s the Belbroughton Scarecrow Weekend so I shall be off and about tomorrow with my camera, capturing the moment (people will then suffer). Actually I've still not got around to sorting out my holiday photos yet, most unlike me. Anyway, I digress, the whole village gets involved and it’s a good day out – all in aid of charity. They don’t advertise it like they used to, due to the village being over run with people; so it’s a case now of remembering roughly when it’s on and checking the village website.
Nothing much else planned for the weekend – just lately I’ve been in the mood to write again, so I’ll try and make a bit of ‘me’ time and carry on with Chapter 7. It’s not so difficult now I’ve got going again, I think I lost my confidence a bit and wasn’t happy for anyone to see what I’d written. It just wasn’t good enough for my liking. I forgot the fundamental rule: You should write for your own pleasure and enjoyment. Sharing it with others comes a lot further down the list.
Right, nose to the grindstone again…

I wish you a very nice weekend and hopefully a nice for us too if you are in the mood of writing.
A colleague and I have to go to retraining this weekend at Stuttgart. We get a new pc program and I don't think it will be fun. I hate that. I like my sundays for myself and do what I want. The only good thing we have a holliday at Wednesday so I can relax then.

PS I liked your stories especially whiter than white.
Thanks Sommer, especially as you are always one of the poor souls I make suffer with my artistic endeavours.
I hope your weekend isn't too awful. Maybe you'll get brought a nice lunch to make up for it? They can't expect you too work all day Sunday for nothing :-)
No I don't think so. Only coffe-breaks are going with it. We have to provide our own lunch.
In Stuttgart is a very large fair perhaps we'll go there for a beer or two.
And I like your photos it gives me a picture from where you live and that's interesting for me. So don't hold back.

Oh that's good - everyone will have someone to blame when they all end up with 100's of photo's to look at ;-)
I take the blame. I can take, I'm used to.
sigh, sob, sniffle

*Laughs*
Good grief, I hope you don’t think a few tears will make anyone go any easier on you? This lot don’t do sympathy.
They don't do feedback either!
That's a bunch of spoiled brats.
Always taking but never ever giving.
I feel with you.

Of course you do.
I would just point out that it would have sounded a lot more sincere without you sniggering behind your hand. You being one of those spoilt brats after all :)
I wrote - admittedly only in PS - but I wrote I liked your stories. You want more? My, your are greedy!
So: I like to praise your ability to make me laugh and feel with your characters. They feel like real people who I could perhaps know.
sommer
Woop! - praise at last, somebody cares. I've not been forgotten about. All those hours of writing till my fingernails broke, sleepless nights tossing and turning worrying about the plot - it wasn't all for nothing! Feeling even more sorrier for me yet?
Funny how you feel you 'know' Alex & Connor, Alex reminds me of someone too. Can't for the life of me think who ;-)
